The principal products and services of LVG are sugar, rice, beer, grains and agricultural products; sweeteners; oils and fats; feedstuff; meat and livestock; marine products; fresh and frozen foods; mineral water; soft drinks; confections and snacks; canned foods; coffee beans, coffee and beverages; dairy and processed foods; contract food services; apparel; fabrics; textile raw materials; textiles for industrial use; pulp, paper and packaging materials; wood, wood products and construction materials; tyres; photosensitised materials; ceramic materials. Additionally, the Group is involved in wholesale and retail distribution, support activities for investments, and e-commerce.

LVG has expanded into the trade of value-added functional textiles – such as optical fibre and non-woven fabrics – from Japan to the European market. In association with our subsidiary company Tredia Europe Limited, LVG has also created new business accounts with UK customers for garment imports from South East Asia, adding to the business we receive from existing core customers like the Japanese chain MUJI.

In addition, LVG’s General Merchandise Department has continued to expand its tyre and specialty paper businesses. Our footwear business is also still growing along with the booming of business in exporting high-quality men’s shoes to Japan.

Princes is the number one importer and one of the leading suppliers of Canned Foods within the UK, leading the market for Canned Fish, Canned Meat and sandwich solutions. Princes has an expanding business across mainland Europe, supplying a portfolio of market leading brands. Princes is also the UK's third largest supplier of Soft Drinks.

Tredia was originally created as a spin-off from the Textiles Department of Mitsubishi Corporation (Hong Kong) Ltd. in 1987. The company provides comprehensive services spanning all phases of the textile industry through its experts in production management, data collection and product planning.
