MCUK’s Chemicals Division sources and markets a range of petrochemicals and plastics. Our major products are:

QAMAR - sourced from SPDC in Saudi Arabia, this linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) is one of the most versatile thermal plastics commonly in use today. Characterized by its softness, strength and water resistance, it is a principal component in the manufacturing of various plastic bags, food packaging, and packaging film.

PET -Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is used to make soft drink bottles and other kinds of food containers. We expect demand for this product to increase as consumers choose bottled soft-drinks over cans. The material is also a more environmentally-friendly option, given its good recycling capabilities.

CHE - also sources and markets M-TiO2 (titanium dioxide, a key ingredient in sun-care products) and a range of enzymes (used in food and pharmaceutical applications).
